Affiliate Program

These Affiliate Program Terms of Service ("Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in the Hostoy Affiliate Program ("Program"). By joining the Program, you agree to follow these terms in full. Hostoy reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued participation means you accept any changes.

1. About the Program

The Hostoy Affiliate Program allows individuals, bloggers, content creators, web developers, and businesses to earn commission by referring new customers to Hostoy. When a referred customer purchases any eligible hosting plan through your unique referral link, you earn a percentage of the sale as commission.

The Program is free to join. There are no signup fees, monthly charges, or hidden costs. You simply sign up, get your referral link, and start earning.

2. Commission Structure

Your commission rate depends on the total number of successful referrals you have made. As your referrals grow, your commission rate increases automatically. Here is how the tiers work:

Your tier is calculated based on the total number of confirmed and active referrals. If a referral is cancelled or refunded, it will not count toward your tier progress. Once you reach a higher tier, you stay at that level as long as your referrals remain active.

3. What Counts as a Successful Referral

A referral is considered successful when all of the following conditions are met:

• The referred customer clicks your unique referral link and creates a new account on Hostoy.
• The customer makes a purchase of any eligible hosting plan (shared hosting, VPS, dedicated server, or any other paid plan).
• The customer's payment is fully completed and confirmed.
• The customer does not request a refund or cancel the order within the refund eligibility period.

Commission is only earned on the first purchase made by a new customer. Existing Hostoy customers who already have an account are not eligible as referrals, even if they click your link.

4. Refund Policy & Commission Reversal

We believe in a fair system for both our affiliates and our customers. However, if a referred customer requests and receives a refund for their purchase, the following will apply:

• Full Reversal: The commission earned from that specific referral will be fully reversed and deducted from your affiliate balance.
• Tier Impact: The refunded referral will no longer count toward your total referral count. This means your tier may be adjusted if the refund causes your active referral count to drop below a tier threshold.
• Already Withdrawn: If you have already withdrawn the commission for a referral that is later refunded, the reversed amount will be deducted from your future earnings. If your balance goes negative, it must be recovered before any new withdrawals can be made.

This policy exists to prevent abuse and to make sure the affiliate program remains fair for everyone. We encourage you to refer genuine customers who truly need our services.

5. Minimum Withdrawal & Payout Process

You can request a withdrawal once your available affiliate balance reaches the minimum threshold:

• Minimum Withdrawal Amount: $100.00 USD
• Processing Time: All withdrawal requests are reviewed and processed within 24 to 48 business hours.
• Payment Methods: Payouts are made via PayPal, bank transfer, or account credit — depending on the options available in your region.

Please make sure your payment details are correct and up to date in your affiliate dashboard. Hostoy is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payment information provided by the affiliate.

Note: Withdrawal requests may be delayed or held for review if we detect unusual activity or suspect a violation of these terms. In such cases, we will notify you and work to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

6. Cookie Duration & Tracking

When someone clicks your referral link, a tracking cookie is placed in their browser. This cookie lasts for 30 days. If the visitor makes a purchase within 30 days of clicking your link, the sale is credited to your affiliate account.

If the visitor clears their cookies, uses a different browser, or clicks another affiliate's link after yours, the referral may not be tracked to your account. Hostoy uses industry-standard tracking technology, but we cannot guarantee tracking in all situations due to browser settings and user behavior.

7. Prohibited Activities

To keep the program fair and trustworthy, the following activities are strictly not allowed:

• Self-Referrals: You cannot use your own referral link to purchase hosting for yourself or for accounts you control.
• Fake Referrals: Creating fake accounts, using stolen payment methods, or generating fraudulent orders to earn commission is strictly prohibited.
• Spam: Sending unsolicited emails, messages, or any form of spam to promote your referral link is not allowed.
• Misleading Claims: Making false promises about Hostoy's services, pricing, features, or uptime guarantees to attract referrals is prohibited.
• Brand Misuse: Using Hostoy's name, logo, or trademarks in a way that is misleading, unauthorized, or could damage our reputation.
• Paid Ads on Brand Keywords: Running paid advertisements (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) that bid on "Hostoy" or related brand terms without written permission.
• Cookie Stuffing: Using hidden iframes, pop-ups, or scripts to force referral cookies on visitors without their knowledge or consent.

8. Violation & Account Termination

If we find that you have violated any of the terms listed above, Hostoy reserves the right to take the following actions:

• Issue a warning and request immediate correction.
• Temporarily suspend your affiliate account while we investigate.
• Permanently terminate your affiliate account.
• Forfeit any unpaid or pending commission balance.
• Reverse any commission earned through fraudulent or prohibited means.

Hostoy will make every effort to investigate fairly, but our decision regarding violations is final.

9. Relationship Between Parties

As an affiliate, you are an independent partner — not an employee, agent, or representative of Hostoy. You do not have the authority to make any promises, agreements, or commitments on behalf of Hostoy. This Program does not create any employment, partnership, or joint venture relationship between you and Hostoy.

10. Changes to the Program

Hostoy may change, update, or discontinue the Affiliate Program or any part of these terms at any time. We will do our best to notify affiliates of major changes through email or dashboard announcements. However, it is your responsibility to check this page regularly for updates.

If you continue to participate in the Program after changes are made, it means you accept the updated terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

Hostoy is not responsible for any loss of earnings, missed commissions due to tracking issues, or any indirect damages arising from your participation in the Affiliate Program. Our total liability to any affiliate shall not exceed the total commission amount actually earned and confirmed in their account.

12. Privacy & Data

By joining the Affiliate Program, you agree to our Privacy Policy. We collect basic information such as your name, email, and payment details to manage your affiliate account and process payouts. We will never share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
